Lukashenko urges against negligence, mismanagement in rural retail outlets
MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Mismanagement in rural retail outlets is inadmissible, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the general meeting of the Belarusian National Union of Consumer Societies Belkoopsoyuz on 8 October, BelTA has learned.
“Irresponsibility and negligence in retail trade are absolutely unacceptable. I am receiving the corresponding complaints even from the remote areas. Do not tell me it is not true. I used to live where you work today – in the rural area,” the head of state said.
The State Control Committee also reports on similar violations. The most widespread of them are the sale of goods with expired shelf life, Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
“It is simply a crime to endanger people’s health by taking advantage of the fact that they have nowhere else to go shopping!” the Belarusian leader stressed.
