MOSCOW, 13 October (BelTA) – The global energy crisis has had no impact on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina told a briefing on 13 October, BelTA has learned.

“Bilateral intergovernmental agreements were concluded between all the EAEU member states. These agreements provide for coordination in terms of prices and volumes of energy sources. In addition to that, every year respective bodies of the EAEU member states reconcile the amount of interstate supplies of gas, oil and petroleum products needed to meet the domestic demand. Accordingly, the supplies of gas, oil and petroleum products for 2021 were agreed on in 2020,” Iya Malkina said.

“In this regard, the energy crisis did not affect the EAEU countries in any way. The EAEU member states maintain uninterrupted and stable operation of all their economic sectors,” the EEC representative said.
