Belarus commissions 36,300 new apartments in January-September

MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – In January-September companies of all forms of ownership built 36,300 new apartments and commissioned 3.071 million square meters of housing, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Some 1.277 million square meters of homes were delivered for people on the waiting list for better housing (41.6% of all homes commissioned); 950,600 square meters of them were subsidized by the government. Some 683,800 square meters of housing was built for families with many children.
All in all, 859,500 square meters of housing was commissioned in rural areas (28% of all homes commissioned in the country).
